This campaign resulted from a strategic partnership between our digital marketing agency and UKG (formerly Kronos), the creators of the widely-used Human Capital Management (HCM) software suite, UKG Pro. UKG’s business model allows smaller HCM companies to white-label UKG Pro and resell it as their own software. Our agency collaborated with UKG’s marketing team to create a customizable UKG Pro sales video tailored to the brand specifications of these smaller HCM vendors.

Objectives

  1. Create Customizable Sales Videos: Develop a UKG Pro sales video that can be easily customized for different HCM vendors.

  2. Build a Comprehensive Sales Funnel: Use HubSpot to create a seamless sales funnel that includes sales pages, forms, order pages, and follow-up communications.

  3. Achieve Significant Revenue: Drive immediate and sustained revenue through an effective digital marketing campaign.

My role involved orchestrating the entire funnel process, leveraging HubSpot to create and manage various components tailored to six distinct products within the software suite.

Solution

1. Customizing Sales Videos

We collaborated with UKG’s marketing team to produce a high-quality sales video for UKG Pro. The video was designed to be easily customizable, allowing each HCM vendor to brand it as their own.

Actions Taken:

  • Script Development: Created a versatile script that highlighted the key benefits of UKG Pro while allowing space for brand-specific customization.

  • Video Production: Produced a polished, professional video that could be easily edited to incorporate different branding elements.

  • Customization Workflow: Developed a streamlined process for customizing the video for each client, ensuring quick and efficient turnaround times.

2. Building the Sales Funnel with HubSpot

Using HubSpot’s robust sales and marketing tools, I built or managed the creation of the entire sales funnel.

Key Components:

  • Sales Pages: Designed and built 25 web pages tailored to different aspects of the UKG Pro offering.

  • Customization Forms: Created forms to capture specific customization requirements from each HCM vendor.

  • Order Pages: Developed order pages to facilitate the seamless purchase of the software.

  • Follow-Up Communication: Crafted 18 follow-up emails to guide prospects through the sales journey.

  • Custom Reports and Dashboards: Built 5 custom reports and 1 comprehensive sales dashboard to track campaign performance.

  • Automated Workflows: Implemented 10 automated workflows to manage customer interactions and internal notifications.

The campaign yielded impressive results:

  • Immediate Revenue: Generated $20,000 in revenue on the first day of the campaign.

  • Sustained Growth: Achieved $120,000 in revenue within the first four months.
